September 17, 2021 - Chad Finchum Returns to NASCAR Xfinity Series Action at Bristol Motor Speedway
1Bristol, Tennessee (09/19/21) - Chad Finchum made his much-anticipated return to NASCAR Xfinity Series action on Friday evening at Bristol Motor Speedway in his Toyota of Knoxville / Black Oak Contracting No. 61 MBM Motorsports / Finishing Touch / Sesco Lighting She Brews Toyota Supra.

Finchum started the Food City 300 at the famed, 1/2-mile oval in the 38th position. He overcame various challenges throughout the event to cross the finish line in the 33rd position.

"After a long hard-fought race we ended up finishing in the 33rd position. Bristol is one of those tracks that I always put a little bit more expectation on and always have very high standards, but we just came up short of our goals on this one," Finchum said. "We started in the 38th position and quickly advanced our way into the Top 30 and was looking to have a very positive day. Unfortunately, we ended up having some radio issues early in the race and had to come to pit road under green flag conditions, which cost us a ton of time trying to diagnose the issue. We lost several laps and it was just too much to overcome. I want to thank my team and sponsors for their support. My racing program wouldn't be possible without them, and we are looking forward to getting back on the track again soon!"

1 Concord, North Carolina (06/20/21) - Chad Finchum made his first NASCAR Cup Series start of the 2021 season on Sunday afternoon at Nashville Super Speedway in the Toyota of Knoxville / Smithbilt Homes No. 66 Garrison Homes Toyota Camry.

Finchum started 33rd on the grid and had a fast car during the race's early stages before a rear-end issue knocked him out of the race.

"I'm so happy that NASCAR decided to add another Tennessee track to the circuit. We started 33rd and had a blazing-fast Toyota Camry for the race and was hoping to have a career-best Cup Series finish but unfortunately we had a rear-end issue that ended our day early," Finchum shared. "This was only my fifth Cup race ever, and the first of this year so everytime I hop in one of these cars it's a learning experience for me. But I felt like we made the most of it. We're trying to line up some more races this year in both Xfinity and Cup, so stay tuned!

May 29, 2021 - Chad Finchum Returns to Action with Top-15 Performance at Charlotte
1 Concord, North Carolina (05/29/21) - After last competing in NASCAR Xfinity Series action two-and-a-half months ago, Chad Finchum was excited to return to action on Saturday afternoon at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Alsco Uniforms 300.

Avoiding multiple melees throughout the event at the 1.5-mile oval, Chad wheeled his entry to a 15th-place finish in his return to the driver's seat.

"I just can't thank my guys at MBM Motorsports enough. I haven't been driving full-time this year, so the opportunities to get behind the wheel have been limited, so the odds have been stocked against us. We qualified 22nd of the 43 entries after being out of the car for two-and-a-half months," Finchum said. "We had to dodge a lot of wrecks, and we got the car tuned up by the end of the race and crossed the stripe in 15th. "Early in the race I slipped back because I just couldn't make the top side work the way that I wanted. I rode back around the sixth spot for a while before working my way up to fourth with 30-or-so laps to go. I got hung on the outside longer than I would've liked and the leaders got away. We finished seventh, but hopefully I can can get another opportunity to drive this car again.

"A very special thank you goes out to Jay and Cameron and everyone at Hedgecock Racing for busting their tail on this all week. Also, a big thanks to Bobby Hall for calling me and putting this deal together. Wish we could've won today, but if we get another chance soon, I know we will."

"We started 40th in the MBM Motorsports No. 13 and drove into the Top 20, and I believe we were capable of a Top-15 finish. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funds we had to call it a day early, but I'm really proud of our team and what we achieved, and now we are looking forward to Martinsville in a few weeks."

Unfortunately, in the last 50 laps of the race we lost some speed and battled to a 28th-place finish," Finchum said. "Overall, we had a great car all day long, and just hate that we didn't get the finish we deserved, but our day is coming. "We started 26th and had a really fast Ford Mustang, and was just being patient, trying to avoid the 'big one'," Finchum said. "With about 17 laps to go we were in good position, running with our teammates, and had a plan to go to the front. Unforutnately, we just got caught up in a late-race wreck on the backstretch. It was a disappointing end to the day, but my new crew chief, Mark, did an awesome job giving me a fast race car, and my crew was great all day.

"We really couldn't have asked for anything more on my end than a little more good luck. Bad luck is sometimes just part of the sport. We will hold our heads high and take what we learned from this race and move onto our next race at Homestead in two weeks.'

1Darlington, South Carolina (03/07/20) - After more than two months out of the driver's seat due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Chad Finchum finally was able to return to the driver's seat on Thursday evening at Darlington Raceway in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition.

Unfortunately, mechanical woes struck late in the race, which caused Finchum to slip a few spots. He ultimately crossed the finish line in the 24th position.

"We had a car that was capable of a Top-15 finish until the final 20 laps or so. It seemed like something was going away in the right rear, and it made the car almost undriveable," Finchum said. "However, for this to be the first time I've been in a car in over two months, and for us to be so fast, I was really happy. Our 24th-place finish allowed us to move up in the points as well."
