August 28, 2020 - Top-25 Performance for Chad Finchum at Daytona
1Daytona Beach, Florida (08/28/20) - After running as high as the 11th position in Stage 2 of the Wawa 250 powered by Coca-Cola on Friday night at Daytona International Speedway, Chad Finchum experienced a mechanical failure under the hood of his No. 13 MBM Motorsports Toyota in the closing laps.

The issue resulted in a 25th-place finish for the Tennessee racer in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event.

"We started 25th and drove our way into the lead pack early in the event. We stayed in the Top 15 all race and even finished Stage 2 in the 11th position. Unfortunately, we had a mechanical failure on our No. 13 with about 25 laps remaining, and that ended our outing," Finchum said. "I had a lot of fun and loved rocking the colors. We will bounce back at Darlington next week."

August 23, 2020 - Chad Finchum Embarks on Doubleheader at the "Monster Mile"
1Dover, Delaware (08/23/20) - Chad Finchum took his Garrison Homes No. 13 MBM Motorsports Toyota into battle over the weekend in a doubleheader of action at Dover International Speedway.

Action began on Saturday at the track, known as "The Monster Mile." Battling through constant challenges, Finchum preserved to finish 29th in the Drydene 200 at the one-mile, concrete oval.

The team looked to improve their performance on Sunday in the 200-lap, Drydene 200. Starting 32nd on the grid, Chad advanced to a 24th-place finish in the final rundown.

"Saturday was a battle from the get-go as our team faced a lot of adversity. We grinded it out to finish 29th, but we definitely were hoping for a better day on Sunday, and thankfully we got it," Finchum commented. "On Sunday we had a decent car all day and fought a hard race. Our guys on pit road did a great job and got us a couple spots at the of the long green flag run. My crew chief, Ryan Bell did an amazing job calling the race and spotter, Frank Deiny is the best in the business." >>READ MORE

August 8, 2020 - Gear Failure Ends Finchum's Day Early at Road America
1Plymouth, Wisconsin (08/08/20) - Chad Finchum rolled into the sprawling Road America on Saturday to compete in the Henry 180 in his Smithbilt Homes No. 13 Toyota.

Early in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at the 4.048-mile, road course Finchum advanced several spots. Unfortunately, during a Stage 1 restart, he lost third gear, which ultimately forced him to retire from the event.

"We were really looking forward to Road America. Even though we didn't have the best starting position, we passed 10 or 11 cars early in the first Stage. I felt like we had a pretty good piece, until there was a caution and we lost third gear on the restart," Finchum said. "We were forfeiting a lot of speed without the gear, so we decided to call it a day.

"Now I'm looking forward to heading to the Daytona Roval for the first time, and then a doubleheader at Dover after that." >>READ MORE
