1Kansas City, Kansas (10/19/19) - The Kansas Lottery 300 brought Chad Finchum to Kansas Speedway over the weekend, where he returned to the driver's seat of the Garrison Homes MBM Motorsports No. 61 1st State Marble & Tile/ Air Titan Bees Toyota Supra.

Finchum started 35th on the grid for NASCAR Xfinity Series event, and overcame mechanical issues to cross the finish line in the 26th position.

"My team did a great job this weekend, and did a heck of a job getting this car back together after I brushed the wall in practice. I never dreamed that we'd be able to bounce back to finish in the 20's," Finchum said. "During the race as good as my car was I could tell that something wasn't quite right. We discovered an issue after the race that kept the car from going full throttle. We'll get that resolved and head to Texas." >>READ MORE

October 5, 2019 - Chad Finchum Doomed by Engine Woes at Dover
1Dover, Delaware (10/05/19) - Chad Finchum returned to action on Saturday afternoon in Garrison Homes MBM Motorsports No. 61 1st State Marble & Tile Toyota Supra.

His latest event was the NASCAR Xfinity Series Use Your Melon Drive Sober 200 at Delaware's Dover International Speedway.

Chad qualified 30th on the grid and climbed ten spots during the race's first stage before engine woes forced him to retire from the event on lap 33.

"We made a lot of gains during practice, and that showed with our qualifying performance. In the race we immediately started clawing our way forward and had passed ten or so cars when something in the engine let go," Finchum shared. "Was a tough way to end the day, but I want to definitely thank Garrison Homes and 1st State Tile & Marble for coming on board to support us."

Finchum was scored in the 31st position in the final rundown.
