March 25, 2017 - Chad Finchum Launches New Website; Opens 2017 Season
1Chad Finchum and Finchum Racing have launched a brand-new website at www.ChadFinchum.com.

With over 1,000 career wins - spanning multiple divisions - Chad is now embarking on the 2017 season, which marks his 16th year of racing. He will be competing in both NASCAR Whelen All American Series action as well as NASCAR K&N Filter Series competition.

Chad kicked off his 2017 season on Saturday afternoon at Kingsport Speedway (Kingsport, Tennessee) in his Texas Roadhouse #19 Overstock Mercantile Ford in the Food City 175. The outing started with Chad qualifying 3rd fastest, and the inversion positioned him in the 2nd-starting spot for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Stock Car feature.

Finchum grabbed the lead from the drop of the green flag in his familiar #19. He paced the field for the first 40 laps before a left-rear flat tire forced him pitside. He would go on to rebound to a 5th-place finish.

Full results from the event are available at www.NewKingsportSpeedway.com.

March 22, 2017 - Chad Finchum Prepares for 2017
1Chad Finchum of Knoxville is hoping to jump-start his 2017 racing season in the same fashion as he has the past two years – parked in victory lane at Kingsport Speedway celebrating a NASCAR Whelen All-American Series win. The season-opener at the .375-mile banked concrete oval in the Model City is scheduled for Saturday, March 25.

“Oh yeah, I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel again to start this new racing season,” Finchum said from his race shop earlier today. “We’ve done some preseason testing at Kingsport Speedway with our Late Model Stock Car and I believe we should be one of the top contenders if everything falls into place. It sure would be awesome to win the season-opener for the third consecutive year.”

Finchum is also very excited about returning to Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 22, where he hopes to defend his victory in last year’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series Pitt Lite 125. Finchum will chauffeur the Emory & Henry College sponsored No. 39 Toyota Camry for Martin-McClure Racing. >>READ MORE
